Welcome to Peelers! About me, Nancy Sawle-Knobloch. My skills (some usable; some less so): Milking cows, cultivating corn, judging meat animals, short-order cook, procrastinatory baking, ability to make sour-dough bread (two loaves are usually consumed within two days in our house), driving kids to stuff, managing manufacturing plants, making sausage, reading a book while stirring, walking, and "go to person" for our dog when everyone else has forgotten him.
I grew up on a dairy and hog farm in Wisconsin. I graduated from the University of Wisconsin in Meat & Animal Science and from Kendall College (https://www.kendall.edu) with a certificate of cookery. I worked for a large food corporation for many years, and I LOVE to cook and bake. It's as simple as that.
